**VERY IMPORTANT** - You must make sure the vehicle has NOT been boosted to the XL8 System. The vehicles that were built with the XL7 system have been notified by GM to be brought in to be boosted to XL8 system due to weak signal problems. This remote will only work on original XL7 system
